Managing cause campaigns

Each campaign follows a specific life cycle and should be managed on a constant basis to ensure that it is still relevant and up-to-date. Download the Good campaign management PDF to manage your campaign pages correctly. 

Add a new campaign

Select the “Cause campaigns” tab of your cause account and click on "Create campaign". Complete all required fields by adding information about your campaign. When done, save the campaign and click on "View" to visit the campaign as your donors will see it.

Tip: Add an image and/or video on your campaign page to make your fundraising idea more attractive to your donors.

Pause a campaign

This will make the campaign invisible to everyone except the primary user / system user. Take care, however: It will also close any associated activist projects for donations until you reactivate the campaign. In addition, all recurring donations for this campaign will be stopped, and the donors will be notified. To proceed with this, click on "Manage > Edit" next to the campaign under the "Cause campaigns" tab, then on "Pause".

Archive a campaign

When you archive a campaign it is still publicly visible, but can no longer receive donations. Any associated activist projects are closed for donations. In addition, all recurring donations for this campaign are stopped, and the donors are notified. Take note that you cannot reactivate an archived campaign, only delete it. To proceed, click on "Manage > Edit" next to the campaign under the "Cause campaigns" tab, then on "Archive".

Delete a campaign

Once you delete a campaign it cannot be undone! All associated activist projects will be closed for donations. Additionally, all recurring donations will be stopped, and the donors will be notified. To proceed, click on "Manage > Edit" next to the campaign under the "Cause campaigns" tab, then on "Delete".

Set as featured campaign: To set a campaign as the featured campaign on your cause profile page, click on "Manage > Set as featured" next to the campaign under the "Cause campaigns" tab.

Note: A Basic pricing plan cause account will allow for one active cause campaign only. To run two or more active campaigns simultaneously you'll need to upgrade your cause account to the Premium option under "Settings > Billing".
