A GivenGain charity account is available to any registered, non-profit entity (charity, organisation, foundation, club, trust, NGO, etc.) that is in good standing and recognized by their local government.
The individual applying for a charity account is required to:
- be authorized by the charity to submit the application.
- ensure that the charity has a bank account opened in the name of the charity, within the country where the charity is officially registered. (This may not be a personal bank account.)
Note: Individuals are not permitted to apply for a charity account (or fundraiser account) for personal fundraising purposes or to raise funds for any purpose that is not officially registered as a non-profit entity.
