Important: Organiser event pages are not used for fundraising associated with public events on GivenGain (such as the Boston Marathon). More on charity Organiser and Partner event pages.
What is new?
- A charity Organiser event page includes a start and end date, which will conclude any fundraising for that event.
- Unlimited gallery images.
Setup
Log in as a charity administrator and navigate to Events (top navigation bar) > Organiser > Active, then click on Create new event. Enter a title for your event, for example, Support our 2026 education program, complete the required fields, and click Continue.
Upload a square logo or image for your event, complete the remaining fields, and provide a description of the event, then click Continue.
Choose whether to permit fundraising exclusively for your charity (preferred causes) or to enable participants to initiate fundraising projects for your charity and other charities on GivenGain, then click Create draft event page.
Finalize and activate
On the event preview page, click Looks good! Make it live to activate your new event, or select Edit event to modify the event page and add a cover image, then click View public page and publish it.
Share
Once your charity Organiser event page is live, its URL will be available to share with your supporters. Use the share options located below the event description to distribute the link.
Supporters may now select Give to make a donation or Start fundraising to create their own fundraising project on your behalf.
