A donation will clear on the 1st Monday after a 14-day period has lapsed from the date of the donation. Until the donation has cleared, it will reflect in the Pending report under Charity > Reports > Payouts. Once it has cleared, it will reflect in the Balance report next to the Pending report.
Note: A donation which is a fundraising minimum milestone payment from the fundraiser will clear on the 1st Monday after a 28-day period.
A donation in the Balance report means that, although it has cleared for a payout to your charity bank account, it was not paid out due to your payout settings, ie. your minimum payout limit is currently higher than the amount in your Balance section.
How can a payout to your charity bank account be initiated?
To have the Balance amount paid out to your bank account on the following Monday, simply lower the minimum payout limit to an amount less than your Balance amount. Visit Charity > Settings > Payouts to do so.
Please allow 6 - 10 business days for the paid out amount to reflect in your charity bank account.
UK charities only:
- A Gift Aid payment from HMRC will be made to your GivenGain charity account 8-10 weeks from the date of the Gift Aid donation and will then reflect in the Balances column, and also for part of your payout statement.
