When donating, a donor has the option to cover any fees related to their donation, on behalf of the beneficiary charity. Fees include the GivenGain Foundation's fee and transaction fees to cover bank and credit card company charges and other associated costs. An optional, additional contribution can also be added to support the work of the GivenGain Foundation.
When a donation’s fees are covered by the donor, the fees column (Reports > Donations) will display a struck-through amount and the fees in your downloaded transfer reports (Reports > Transfers) will display as 0.00.
Note: Only the donated amount (irrespective of whether any fees are covered by the donor) will appear on the public fundraising project or campaign page.
