When making a donation via GivenGain, donors have the option to cover all fees associated with their donation on behalf of the beneficiary charity. These fees include the GivenGain Foundation's fee, as well as transaction fees to cover bank and credit card company charges and other related expenses. Additionally, donors may choose to include an optional contribution to support the work of the GivenGain Foundation.
By electing to cover the fees, donors ensure that 100% of their intended donation amount is received by the charity. With more than 80% of donors choosing to cover these fees, the charity effectively incurs only 1.3% in fees overall.
Please note: Only the donated amount (regardless of whether any fees are covered by the donor) will be displayed on the public fundraiser project or event page.
