Donors may elect to give anonymously, ensuring that their personal information remains confidential from the event organiser, charity or fundraiser (although they will still be required to provide their details to GivenGain). Additionally, donors may consent to share their information with the charity as previously established.
When a donor selects the Anonymous option, donation notifications and donor reports will indicate the contribution as anonymous to the charity, as well as being publicly displayed as anonymous on an event or project page.
The GivenGain service complies with GDPR regulations concerning the consent provided by donors regarding the use of their personal information by the beneficiary. Should the donor grant consent, their email address and billing address will be included in the charity's donation reports.
